Loverly Sheridan

Loverly Sheridan is a mother, author, educator, motivational speaker, and Anti-Bullying advocate who believes in the power of education, story-telling and advocacy. As an author and world traveler, she finds great enjoyment in teaching, writing, travelling, sharing stories, and in developing campaigns which raises awareness and empower children and adults to live their best lives. This was one of the main inspirations behind her award winning children’s book, “Be a Buddy Not a Bully,” and starting her Buddy Ambassadors Program and International Anti-Bullying Campaign.

Ms. Sheridan has written five children books and an autobiography “A Girl Like Me,” about her amazing world travels, which allowed her to explore six of the seven continents and over fifty countries! Her tailored made Programs are designed to help children develop positive social and emotional skills that are linked to success in school and life. These include abilities and traits such as; teamwork, self-control, kindness, mindfulness and getting along with others.

In 2019, she was the proud recipient of the prestigious Palm Beach Illustrated Magazine, ‘Educator of the Year Award’, and in 2015 she was awarded the International Athena Young Professional Leadership Award. The Athena Award honors women who have excelled in their professional endeavors, shown a commitment to the community, and have fostered a culture or shown leadership that has resulted in promoting women in leadership roles. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication and Women Studies from Florida Atlantic University and a Master of Arts Degree in International Relations from Griffith University in Queensland, Australia.

Ms. Sheridan is also a Mental Health Advocate and is a former Board Member of the Mental Health Association of Palm Beach and the Jerome Golden Behavioral Center.
